About

I’m a CTO/COO‑style advisor who helps deep‑tech and industrial companies to progress/evolve strong science into bankable, manufacturable and defensible products, processes, technologies and IP. At the intersection of technology strategy, industrialisation and funding/IP, I clarify how these domains interact: proactively challenging assumptions, translating R&D outcomes into a clear TRL-to-product development roadmap, and establishing a robust execution framework—including KPIs, governance structures, work packages, and partner/supplier ecosystems—to create a stable, measurable delivery targets pipeline that is profitable and investment-ready.

Operationally, I’ve built and scaled value chains in advanced and bio-based materials, biotech processing, green technologies, and circular systems. This covers defining materials, setting up processes, building supplier and production networks, and certifying outputs. My experience began at Grado Zero Espace, where I directed EU-funded programs in smart textiles and fibre-based composites. I then worked at Pangaia Materials Science, where I led industrial materials and processes readiness, developed, protected, and established a proprietary IP portfolio, and launched new biotech fibre-based products such as FLWRDWN™/FLWRFILL™ and C-Fibre™. At Borsoi Recycling, I built up a new business unit, developed novel recycling pathways and technologies, and introduced automation in textile waste selection, preparation, and regeneration. For FreyZein - NextGen Textiles, I worked on cellulose-derived materials, biotech-related technologies and products, and supported IP and market strategies. I led R&D and engineering in aerospace and green mobility for BE Engineers for Society, and at Dharma Funding Solutions, I supported companies in improving their funding strategies and outcomes using LLM-driven methodologies (with human-in-the-loop), alongside market and IP strategies. Across roles, I integrate materials, processing engineering, deep technologies, mechatronics and automation, traceability and recycling, EU-level leadership, IP growth, with investment-harvesting execution and delivery.

Best fit: deep‑tech start‑ups and sustainability-oriented SMEs (TRL 3–7) moving from prototype to scalable industrial products; established SMEs (typically fewer than 150–200 employees) launching or scaling new business units or uptaken new products to market; organisations focused on advanced technologies or novel bio-based materials, cleantech and biotech, circularity, industrial automation with AI (sensing, quality/traceability, digital twins), and sustainable egineering, aerospace or dual‑use programmes. In these contexts, verification, validation, reliability, and supply-chain decisions are critical. If you need an experienced, always on-the-field, and credible advisor who supports/helps you in tuning and redirecting your strategy, de‑risking your execution, and creating your go-to-market roadmap to scale—from V&V and design-to-cost to IP and EU funding strategy and partner ecosystems—I’m a strong fit.
