An active search is one that is open for applications. When a search closes, the slot is free for the next company. Annual plans are billed once a year. Monthly plans can be cancelled with one month's notice.

A retained search firm usually charges part of its fee upfront and more during the search, so you pay whether or not the right person is found. Boardio Turnkey has no upfront cost and no Boardio retainer. You pay one success fee only if you start working with an advisor we found, for example a local advisor who opens doors to customers, distributors, partners and investors in your new market.
You pay for a fully managed search: we publish your brief to our network of 12,000+ advisors in 120 countries, reach out to strong matches, review every application and present a curated shortlist. The brief and search start at no charge. The one-time success fee is charged only once you start working with an advisor Boardio found. There are no recurring costs. Prices exclude VAT.
Turnkey is priced by company stage. Startups: from EUR 1,900 + VAT, the same for advisor and board member searches, with a further discount for pre-revenue startups. Scaleups: from EUR 3,900 + VAT. Established companies: from EUR 5,900 + VAT, for larger and more complex searches such as a multi-market expansion. Each is a one-time success fee. Service availability and pricing may differ by country, so ask your local Boardio representative.
You never pay unless you decide to start working with someone. If the shortlist doesn't hit the mark, we refine the search. There is no obligation at any point before you commit to working with an advisor, so a search for local insiders in a new market carries no cost until you find the right fit.
Turnkey at full list price includes the 100% Growth Guarantee. You and your advisor agree clear, measurable goals for the first 3 to 6 months. If the advisor doesn't meet them and you can provide supporting evidence, we run a new search at no extra cost. It is not a guarantee of results, and it is available in select countries only, so confirm with your local Boardio representative.
Starting a search is free: you submit your brief, advisors apply directly and you review candidates with no commitment. Turnkey is the paid service behind it. Boardio runs the search end to end, curates the shortlist and includes the 100% Growth Guarantee, and you pay the success fee only if you proceed with an advisor we found. Advisors are compensated by your company on terms you agree directly.
