Belgian "Trust Infrastructure" Fintech Startup seeking three Advisors to scale across Europe
About the company
This Belgian B2B infrastructure startup translates informal social trust into bank-grade risk signals.
Think of them as "the digital trust layer for financial inclusion" (similar to what ITSME does for identity, but for social capital). They have a confirmed pilot with Belgian VDK BANK(cooperative bank) and with ENABEL (Belgian development agency, active in 20 countries). Technology partners include ITSME (identity) and ISABEL GROUP (Open Banking).
They are now raising €250k pre-seed to integrate partners and launch the pilot. In 12–18 months they plan to raise €1M–2M seed to scale across Europe.
What they are looking for
They are looking for three specific advisors:
1. The Banking Insider (Benelux + France + DACH + Nordics)
You have 10+ years at a top bank in Benelux, France, DACH or Nordics. Your network includes decision-makers for B2B API licenses (Heads of Innovation, Partnerships, SME Banking, Risk,…).
Goal: 2–3 paid pilot licenses (€25k–€75k/year) within 6 months via warm introductions.
Reward: 5% success fee or 0.5% equity (2-year vest).
2. The Social Diplomat (Benelux + France + DACH + Nordics)
You have a deep network in e.g. social housing, microcredit, or government social services in Benelux, France, DACH or Nordics. You understand financial inclusion as a market.
Goal: One signed LOI or paid pilot in a new European country within 6 months.
Reward: €5k–€10k success fee per LOI or 0.5% equity (2-year vest).
3. The Growth Architect (Europe-wide)
You are a former CFO, COO, or Board Member of a B2B fintech SaaS that scaled from pre-seed to Series B. You know what VCs look for in due diligence.
Goal: Prepare us for a €1M–2M seed round at €8M+ valuation within 18 months.
Reward: 0.5%–1.5% equity (3-year vest, 1-year cliff) + monthly retainer after seed round.
