Both start the same way — you submit a brief, we activate the search and send you candidates. With Full Search, Boardio manages the entire process: we curate the shortlist, organise an Interview Day, and you pay a success fee only if you start working with someone we found. The success fee covers the full managed search — publishing your search, screening applicants, curating the shortlist, organising the Interview Day, and facilitating the introduction. It is a one-time charge with no recurring costs. It is only payable after you have decided to start working with an advisor we introduced.
If your advisor does not deliver on the agreed, measurable outcomes, Boardio will find a replacement advisor at no extra cost. You pay the success fee once and we stand behind the quality of the match. The guarantee applies to Full Search only, not Connect. Read the full terms →
You never pay unless you decide to start working with someone. If the shortlist doesn't hit the mark, we refine the search. There is no obligation at any point before you commit to working with an advisor.
Advisor compensation is agreed directly between you and the advisor — typically equity (0.1–0.5% for early-stage companies), a monthly retainer, or a combination. Boardio does not take a cut and is not involved in the compensation arrangement. Compensation guide →
