Piiloleikki Oy / Hide & Seek Ltd.

Hide & Seek is a network of small self-portrait bronze statues which are hidden in public spaces and can be searched for with a map and GPS-coordinates.

The self-portrait statues are made in workshops with different communities and groups of people: residents of a city, school classes, seniors, work communities. The sculptures form an engaging, interactive art route permanently placed in a public space. The route attracts people to the area and encourages them to move and to explore their surroundings. Hide & Seek engages people in several ways – as debaters, as sculpture makers and as route users.

Hide & Seek’s core values are bringing people and places together in mutual appreciation, and doing together. Everyone has the skills to make a bronze sculpture and everyone is important enough to model one. Our not so humble goal is to make a sculpture of every single person on this planet!

Hide and Seek Ltd (Piiloleikki Oy) is a Finnish company founded in 2017 by the sculptor and educator Oona Tikkaoja and Dr. Pol. Sc. Outi Linnossuo, a researcher, developer and teacher in child, youth and family work. Producer Annukka Ketola is in charge of the sales and sales development.
