Raggari Films Ltd is an independent tv and film production startup based in Helsinki, Finland. The company focuses on producing high quality documentary films and series for global distribution. Raggari's productions are written and directed by women. Raggari Films Ltd also wants to create opportunities for international film industry professionals living and looking for work in Finland. The company is founded by Minna Dufton (Producer to Watch, MIPTV2020), an award-winning journalist, documentarist and tv and film industry professional. Dufton has learned her craft by working in big broadcasting corporations such as ITN, BBC and Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle for 20 years. Her longest post as Producer-Director at Yle lasted nine years and included making a number of successful tv series and documentaries such as Docstop: Saara Aalto, a biographical documentary about Finnish singer and songwriter Saara Aalto. The first international documentary production by Raggari Films Ltd is BIG vs SMALL, an independent documentary about Portuguese big wave surfer Joana Andrade.
