The invention provides a solution to magnonics-based ICT circuitry energy consumption. It is an original new way to emit spin-waves locally, monochromatically, and energy efficiently. This could be used as a building block for a new technology platform based on magnonics rather than silicon-based electronics. The invention could be used in magnonics-based logic circuits for information and communication technologies.
