Global Emergency Management Association

The emerging technology caucus of the leading international professional association for emergency management — founded 1952, with 5,000 members across 58 countries, 11 global councils, 9 US regions, and roughly $4M in annual revenue. The association administers the profession's primary credentials (CEM/AEM, established 1993) and runs an annual conference and trade show drawing 2,000 practitioners. The Emerging Technology Caucus is one of 23 member caucuses, chartered to research, evaluate, and issue recommendations on new technology in emergency management practice, with members drawn from every level of government, the private sector, and academia. Its programming has included the association's Crisis Technology Center, conference sessions, and an ongoing webinar series.
