CelPay (independant mobile wallet and payment operator)

As a non-executive director for CelPay, I assisted in developing a successful mobile payment and wallet operator that served as a blueprint for similar ventures in Africa. We operated in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia. CelPay recognised the need for an independent operator that could bridge the gap between traditional banking and mobile operators. Thanks to an innovative approach, CelPay quickly established itself as a leader in the mobile payment space, earning recognition and praise for our ability to serve previously underserved communities.
