Chairman of the Board/Lauttasaari-Seura ry

Lauttasaari-Seura ry/Lauttasaari Association is founded in 1963. Lauttasaari, with its present-day over 25,000 inhabitants, forms an urban district within the City of Helsinki. Lauttasaari Association is a non-profit organisation which aims to promote topics that are important for the Lauttasaari people such as town planning, social services, day-care and school premises issues etc. Association also aims to take an active role in collaborating with different bodies and decision makers in City of Helsinki.

Lauttasaari-Seura owns and publish its own newspaper, circulation appr. 11,500 pcs per month.

I have been active member of the board of directors and vice-chairman already five (5) years. I'm actively participating in associations strategy work, responsible for financials management, supporting working groups in communications etc. I will start my first chairman year in January 2021. Strategic goals for the year 2021 are; digitalization of non-profit organisation, strategy update and triple our member base.
