Social & GovTech Scale-up seeking Advisors for International Expansion and Partnerships
This company is a fast-growing Social & GovTech scale-up that empowers local communities by facilitating a social network for neighborhoods and community engagement. They help citizens connect with their neighbors, combat loneliness, and strengthen community ties, while enabling local governments to engage with citizens effectively. Their safe, ad-free, neighborhood-focused communication platform serves as a trusted alternative to Facebook and X. By fostering social cohesion and digital inclusion, the platform strengthens local communities while providing municipalities with valuable insights and tools for community engagement.
With a strong footprint in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg, the company is now looking to scale internationally, expanding into other European markets and beyond.
They are searching for advisors with at least one of the following experience:
- Experience in public sector engagement: A strong network in municipal, regional, and national government bodies, particularly in community development, smart cities, or social innovation.
- Expertise in international expansion: Knowledge of scaling social platforms or B2G SaaS solutions in new markets, including go-to-market strategies, funding opportunities, and regulatory frameworks.
- Connections in social impact funding & NGOs: Relationships with EU institutions, philanthropic organizations, or impact investment funds interested in supporting their growth.
- Understanding of citizen engagement & digital democracy: Experience with GovTech, CivicTech, or other digital participation tools used in local governance and urban planning.
