Novel preclinical model for personalized breast cancer therapy- Aalto/HY-TUTL

We have just kick-started TUTL project: Novel preclinical model for personalized breast cancer therapy”. Our multidisciplinary team consists of experts from materials science, nanotechnology and advanced cancer cell and molecular biology. Using cutting edge nanotechnology, molecular/cell biology and genomics we have been able to identify a unique method to maintain the cellular identity and heterogeneity of patient derived cancer tissues, which will pave way for realistic, predictive and personalized drug identification and meanwhile boost and revolutionize the drug discovery.
