*Oversee the financial reporting process & monitor the choice of accounting policies and principles.
*Ensure that management has developed and followed an adequate system of internal controls.
*Responsible for selecting and replacing auditors and will oversee the external auditor’s performance by reviewing the audit scope or audit plan along with the audit results.
