FRICTION

Friction is a global manufacturer of braking technologies and friction materials, serving automotive and industrial customers through a diversified international manufacturing and engineering platform, located in the UK.

I supported Friction with an IT Business Architecture and Readiness Review aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the underlying IT organisation and its ability to support future business growth ambitions. My work combined strategic, organisational and technology due diligence assessments to uncover improvement opportunities across governance, operating model design, sourcing, data and application architectures, as well as broader ITSM process management. The engagement culminated in a prioritised value creation roadmap that helped management align IT investments with business priorities (e.g., SAP S/4HANA MES migration), improve execution readiness and establish the foundations for a more scalable, "future-ready" business oriented IT function.
