Raf Seymus

I help founders and CEOs make better decisions when growth gets complicated. I’ve built and scaled companies in tech services and AI SaaS, taken one through an acquisition, raised €3.5M for another, and served on the board of the acquiring group.

I founded Exellys, a tech talent and services company, and grew it to 170 people and €12M in revenue before its acquisition by Projective Group. I later served on Projective Group’s Board of Directors.

I then co-founded Stellar Labs, an AI-powered B2B SaaS learning company. We raised €3.5M, expanded across five countries and built the company for six years. In 2025, we closed it when we couldn’t secure the next funding round. I also advised and invested in HR-tech company huapii, from early stage through to its acquisition by SD Worx.

Today I coach and advise founders at Start it @KBC across B2B SaaS, AI, B2C products and hardware. Through Start it X, I work with venture teams inside larger companies on market and product validation. In my own practice, I work selectively with founders, CEOs and leadership teams.

The businesses are different, but the hard questions are often the same: What should we focus on? Do customers really want this? Is the business model right? How should we price it? Are we ready to raise? Who do we need on the team? What needs to change as the company grows?

That’s where I’m most useful: where business, people and leadership come together.

I give my view when I think my experience can help. I ask questions when the answer needs to come from the founder. And if I think something doesn’t add up, I’ll say so. Directly, but with respect.

I’m particularly interested in advisory and board roles where I can help founders and leadership teams make better decisions, avoid expensive mistakes and navigate the difficult parts of building and scaling a company.
