About
Founder for fifteen years. Advisor and coach to founders, CEOs and leadership teams since. I built Exellys to 170 people and €12M in revenue before its acquisition by Projective Group in 2020, where I then served on the Board of Directors.
I co-founded Stellar Labs, an AI learning company. We raised €3.5M, expanded across five countries, and closed the company in 2025 when a further funding round could not be secured.
I also advised and invested in HR-tech company huapii, from early stage to its acquisition by SD Worx. An exit and an ending teach different things, and I needed both.
Today I coach and advise founders daily at Start it @KBC, Belgium%27s largest accelerator, across B2B SaaS, AI, B2C and hardware, and I work with venture teams inside established companies through Start it X.
In my own practice I advise and coach founders, CEOs and leadership teams. The businesses differ, the hard questions repeat: focus, funding, pricing, people. That daily repetition keeps my judgement current.
You cannot derisk the market. You can derisk the team. That is where I am most useful: where strategy and leadership meet. Scaling, fundraising readiness, founder and co-founder dynamics, difficult people decisions, and the transitions where what got the company here stops working. I share a view when experience is useful. I ask questions when the answer has to come from the founder. I challenge respectfully when something does not add up.
One principle: I never combine an advisory role with a coaching role at the same company. The seats are different, and both deserve to be clean.
ICF-certified coach, certified in Hogan Assessments and Korn Ferry Leadership Architect.
