I am storytteller, social media, marketing and communications professional with background in journalism and entrepreneurship.
I started my professional career as a journalist, working 12 years in different roles, such as a reporter, producer and editor-in-chief. After years I have been working with marketing, communications, social media in global record label, in my own consulting companies and in communications agency Tekir Oy in Helsinki building social media & digital marketing business. After almost a year in iGaming business with one of the largest operators in the world, I started as an account director at Finnish communications agency Ellun Kanat.
During my entrepreneur years, I also founded several startups, such as healthy living app for familes and children and savings application for kids. I founded dog website Kuono.fi in 2013 and sold it to new owener in 2016 after colourful years. Kuono.fi was the biggest dog site in Finland for years 2013-2014, but it never became financially profitable.
In my spare time I spend time with my family and dogs. I am also agile crossfitter and stand up -comedian. I enjoy stupid comedy movies, American comedy series and good drama series. I tend to read from time to time and sometimes I even grab a guitar to throw out couple of notes.
I have also writen 12 books and 13th is in the making. Themes have varied from social media marketing to startups and dog poems to YouTube.
