Victoria Swedjemark

I%27m a blend of extensive legal, compliance and risk area acumen and a true passion for business development. I bring with me:

1) A 20+ year carreer as a business lawyer. I worked with transactions (M&A, corporate, finance), IT contracting and IP at a leading law firm, including for several dot com clients around 1999-2002 and have spent14 years heading up Legal & Compliance (plus sustainability and security in the portfolio), in three different companies in tech, communication and retail - including at Tele2 during the mergers with TDC and ComHem

paired with:

2) a long-term exerience of - and passion for - strategy, business development, operational excellence, digital transformation and leadership from my 14 years in management teams and even more years of experience from board work, and with a university business degree too.

I now work as a management consultant, so very tuned into advising business. I%27ve recently helped a Danish legal tech company open up a new vertical (positioning, messaging etc) and a Swiss legal tech company develop its strategy (partner approach, product development roadmap etc). I am a director of the board of a legal tech scale-up and have had three other board director positions earlier. I have taken two companies public (once as the Chief Legal Officer, once as a director of the board). I%27m experienced in post-merger integration and change implementation.

I am a good match for companies - beyond strictly the legal space - that seek the right strategies to scale, whether it is succeding as a SaaS business, a tech company seeking to finance growth, a company that seeks to grow through international expansion or new verticals - or an organisation that seeks to build the right structures for compliance and risk management and governance (and most companies do these days...).
