I%27ve had a portfolio career which gives me good all-round insight into multiple worlds; academia, startup and corporate. I started with 8 years in academic research, followed by founding a startup based on my research; raising multiple rounds of capital investment before selling to a publically-listed corporate acquirer, and then working for several years as Group CTO for the acquirer, where I managed the technology / digital strategy and oversaw further acquisitions. All of the above was in the UK; I now work in Helsinki for an internationally-oriented Finnish company, in a key Digital-focussed role which gives me exposure to Finnish business locally and internationally,

My background and interest is data platforms and ecosystems. Throughout my career I%27ve built successful instances around multiple topic areas; scientific, business and econometric data, and currently working in the industrial IoT space.
