Thilo Schotte

I have been in Strategy Consulting and International Management throughout my career. Given that I was responsible for the global marketing account of a German automotive manufacturer, a key role has always been to identify, select and manage the best resources (people and entities) around the world for specific tasks and roles. My major strengths in this are a strategic view on the big picture, the creation of win-win constellations, and the ability to make people want to work together. I am a connector and enabler, resourceful to know the right people and make them come together on global scale. That%27s what people from around the world approach me for, to get strategic advise and to connect.
My background allows me to leverage these skills to manifold kind of companies from start-up phase to complex conglomerates. Though a focus has longtime been the automotive industry, I am well travelled also in industrial, finance, pharma, and consumer goods. I always have a strategic marketing view on tasks, but important to note that marketing for me is everything - the classic 4P%27s (product, price, placement, promotion), which nowadays should be extended at least by People and Process. Thus, marketing is a holistic view on the core of every company.
