I am a cross-border life sciences strategist with almost 30 years of experience across academia, pharma, and CRO environments in Japan and North America. I advise early-stage biotech and medtech companies from preclinical development through Phase 2 on clinical strategy, fundraising, and partnership execution — particularly between Japan and the US.

My primary focus is clinical development strategy: designing credible development pathways, aligning nonclinical and clinical data, pressure-testing endpoints, and positioning assets for financing or partnering.

With both scientific depth (PhD) and business training (MBA in finance and international management), I evaluate opportunities from technical and strategic perspectives. I regularly advise founders and investors on development-stage risk, portfolio prioritization, and cross-border expansion.
