Dr. Teemu Tunkelo is the CTO and EVP Platform Services at Voith Digital Solutions GmBH.
He holds a M.Sc. in Electrical and ICT Engineering from Aalto University in Helsinki and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Lausanne (HEC). His work experience includes development of embedded hardware, communication and software systems at Nokia, introducing new inter-operable technologies to market at Wang, Siemens, ABB and Invensys. He has transformed industrial business to win with technology disruptions in leading the creation of ABB’s 800xA extended automation system released in 2003. He has created engineering centers in India for research, development and engineering activities in power and automation markets.
