Taru Jussila works as the Executive Vice Presidet at the Federation of Finnish Enterprises (Suomen Yrittäjät). Communications, marketing and running the Entrepreneur Medias are her main responsibilities. She is also the CEO of Sypoint Ltd owned by the Federation, and editor in chief of Yrittäjä Magazine and Yrittäjäsanomat Newspaper.
Before this Taru served as the Vice President, External and Internal Communications, at Elisa for 3 years. She has her own media&comms company for almost ten years before that.
In the very beginning of her career she worked for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the EU Commission (UN/international environmental politics and sustainable development). She switched to journalism in the end of 90’s and worked for Iltalehti over seven years.
She has done her studies in the University of Tampere. Her major was political science but she has studied journalism (Toimittajatutkinto) and environmental politics too. She has also studied in the Hague (Higher Institute of European Studies). She is also trained supervisor (University of Helsinki) and coach (Neuroleadership Group, Brain Based Coach).
