Susanne Fagerstedt Bühler

Certified board member with 30 years of experience in life science, health economics and market access. Founded Med Consulting in 2002 and have since then worked as a consultant with assignments for pharmaceutical companies and other life science players in and outside the Nordic region. The main task is project management and coordination of pricing and reimbursement applications as well as strategic advice for launches and business development. More than 100 assignments for “Big Pharma”, small to medium-sized pharmaceutical / medtech companies and consultancies. International roles in Brussels and Paris. As General Manager for Med Consulting I have also established many collaborations with other consulting companies, mainly in the UK, France and Germany but also in the USA. In some modeling projects, I have hired subcontractors (mainly from France) where I have established good relations.
Certified board member and training courses such as Startup / Scale up and Economics through the Swedish Academy of Board Directors. I have participated in several Life Science Ad Boards and round table discussions. As a former board member and during certain periods chairman of Företagarna Lidingö I have also gained more experience and understanding of the entrepreneur%27s perspective in many different industries and developed a broad network of entrepreneurs throughout Sweden.
I contribute with my industry expertise in life science, strategic understanding of business models, market access and regulatory landscapes. Broad network of expertise in various areas that are essential in order to be successful in establishing new innovative treatments. Through active networking I have developed a good understanding of the needs and challenges as an entrepreneur also from an international perspective.
Born and raised in Sweden. Fluent in English and German. I have a second home in Montpellier (since 2015) and am working on my French skills.
Open to board assignments where my expertise can contribute to growth, positioning and long-term value, especially in companies operating in pharmaceuticals/ biotech/ medtech or digital health that are in a growth phase and have international ambitions. I am also engaged in several life science investor networks such as Sciety, Connect Uppsala, Feminvest and Life Science Invest.
