Sam Hongbo Sun

Mr. Hongbo Sun is a senior expert in China–GCC economic and trade cooperation, currently serving as Managing Director of HORIVISTA and as an advisor to the governments of the United Arab Emirates and Greater China. HORIVISTA has long been deeply engaged in fostering collaboration among government, corporate, and innovation stakeholders between China and the Gulf region, successfully facilitating cross-border projects with a cumulative value exceeding USD 1.7 billion to date.

Mr. Sun brings over a decade of cross-regional experience across the GCC and China, with extensive expertise in industrial operations and regional market development. He previously founded and led an aviation technology company that forged strategic partnerships with leading global airlines. Its products and services serve more than 400 million airline passengers annually and have attracted international investment, including backing from one of Abu Dhabi’s premier sovereign wealth funds.

A highly regarded keynote speaker, media contributor, and mentor, Mr. Sun has been invited to share strategic perspectives at the World Economic Forum, Harvard Business Review, and with several royal family offices across the Gulf region.
