Am a seasoned and senior Strategic IT leader possessing solid experience of more than 26 years in all aspects of Information Technology across the entire spectrum across the entire spectrum of business verticals. I have a deep understanding of business and how technology can generate opportunities for business growth. I have been instrumental in bringing to fruition region-leading and award-winning initiatives working in large banks (and for their multinational customers like Saudi Aramco, Exxon Mobil, Mubadala, Sharjah Government etc.).
I was the Chairman of the UAE Banking Federation (UBF) Digital Committee in the UAE in furthering the digital agenda across the banking ecosystem.
I was also the sole representative of the UAE Banking Federation (representing the 55 banks in the UAE) in the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) Fintech working group and have led and participated in initiatives serving the Pan-Arab region and authored two publications.
Am a strategic board advisor for three software organizations in the field of fintech and Digital transformation. I provide strategic inputs in product management, Digital transformation, sales and distribution, market outreach, people management, technology landscape, business process reengineering, b2b, b2c and enterprise automation leveraging technology.
Am also President of Middle East and Africa for a North American based Aviation startup.
