Roger T Storm

Roger T Storm (MBA, CFA, B.Sc. Economics & Business) is passionate about contributing as NED, advisor, and Chair in industries such as banking, finance, insurance, FinTech, and financial market infrastructures. He has held board director and c-suite roles in in finance, banking, exchanges, and market infrastructures. He is now part of Handelsbanken Fonder’s team of nomination committee directors, an independent business advisor, and board director. Before this he was CEO of Sweden’s central securities depositories (Euroclear Sweden). There he drove a digitalization and modernization agenda, of an entity managing EUR 1.8 trillion of assets. He there worked on information security and resiliency, launch of data monetization solutions, and a 20% p.a. growth. Ahead of this he was deputy CEO of the Swiss exchange’s European insurance entity – assuring some CHF 26 billion of pan-European trading. He has also held roles such as CRO in a major European finance entity, Managing Director of a bank in France, and worked a M&A project lead at SEB/Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. He has held multiple board positions, and is particularly strong on strategy crafting, finance, risk management, and corporate governance. His latest book is an introduction to the topography of securities markets: The Invisible Engine Room of Finance.
