Riku Mettälä has an extensive experience in the IoT wireless, connectivity, mobile phone and health care industry in past 20 years. As an example, he had a significant role that Bluetooth technology exists today.
He has the experience both from the end-product side of industry but also the technology, SaaS and IC supplier side of market. Recently he hold the Vice President position for the IoT SW portfolio at Silicon Labs and he is heading the operational activities of VideoVisit as a COO. He has successfully led international business line, strategy, M&A, start-up, R&D, quality, and production activities.
He has graduated as a MSc of computer science from Tampere University, Finland and Virginia Tech, USA. But he is also a father of three kids and the future of earth is close to his and his wife´s minds as well.
After recently moving from Austin, Texas back to Finland, he is advising the companies from Finland through MRevealed Oy or as an individual.
