Riku Poutanen

I have experience from growing a company (Fiksuruoka/Foodello) as a co-founder from 100k€ to 23M€ revenue in 8 years. During the years I have been responsible for marketing, product development and store operations functions (my title has been CMO and CGO). I act in the leadership team and attend all board meetings (as founder / board observer). I have seen how the company grows from just 2 person team to +80 person team and how the leadership practises and culture evolve during that time. My strongest areas are executing new growth initiatives fast, data-driven decision making and building a testing culture that enables company to learn and develop.

My biggest achievements are leading the successful market entry to Netherlands and Belgium markets (+10M€ revenue) and expanding our business successfully from the online business (online store and apps) in to the brick and mortar stores which are well profitable from the start and provide us a new high growth opportunity. I have been responsible for drafting the B&M strategy, justifying it to our leadership team and board, leading the MVP popup store test, building our store concept and leading all the store opening projects.

Before Fiksuruoka/Foodello I also worked at Smartly.io, which is another successful startup. At Smartly I helped large global companies to optimise their online marketing. I worked in Helsinki but also few months in Singapore and New York.
