Reija Laaksonen

I am a senior executive with strong business focus and a proven track record of transforming companies through digital, customer focus and brand purpose. I have over twenty years of experience in international business at Nokian Tyres, Fazer and Unilever. My core competences are brand management, marketing and communications as well as digital transformation which I have led successfully at Fazer and Nokian Tyres. My north star has always been purposeful brands, those leading to sustainable business: early in my career in dental care and saving water, later supporting women’s self-esteem, communicating 100% traceable cocoa sourcing and most recently launching sustainable tire innovation challenge. Through my role at Nokian Tyres and as a board member at Kamux Plc, I have had the chance to grow into a more general and business development executive. As a person, I am a compassionate leader and proven to continuously learn new and drive business growth in change. My extensive experience from long term strategy to short term operational delivery is an excellent fit to any advisor or board member role where digital, brand and customer focus are key drivers for future growth.
