Pekka Matvejeff

Over 40 years of versatile working experience in service industry and public organizations ranging from hotel- and restaurant management to passenger-shipping and even to municipalities and NGO´s offers me a good platform to broad and innovative perspectives to the university-business life-interface. I have more than 20 years of work experience in international business environment and over 25 years in management positions.

Since 2007 I have been working as Senior Lecturer, Head of Degree Programs and Development Manager in two Universities of Applied Sciences in Finland. I have acted as a visiting lecturer in various European Universities and as a speaker in international conferences.

I have been Member of the Board in business- and public organizations, NGO´s and foundations since 1996. I have also acted as an advisor to entrepreneurs, whether already in business or starting-up-phase as well as to young talents in a role of a mentor or student supervisor.

My vast experience in management positions, as advisor and as member of the board in public-, business- and non-profit organizations support the ability to bring stakeholders and organizations together and help them form beneficial and sustainable partnerships.
