I am Ds.C. in Sociology with a specialization on labour market relations. My main interest at the moment is economic policy and innovation, as well as labour productivity issues. My current project concerns self-employment, and I have recently published about platform work in the Netherlands.
Sociology of work is an excellent background for understanding organizational dynamics as well as the development of (labour) markets. In particular the capacity to analyze work processes is valuable for firms.
Furthermore, I have excellent presentation skills that I developed as a teacher and presenter at conferences. I have researched in particular new developments in the labour market, and I am familiar with data analysis, including machine learning and algorithmic recruitment.
