I am a board director who has also spent 30+ years sitting in the operator%27s chair. I bring the perspective of an operator, strategist, and experienced board leader to organizations navigating growth, disruption, and complexity.

I currently serve on the board of a $1.5B nonprofit healthcare organization, where I have held leadership roles including Board Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair, Investment Committee Chair, and Audit Committee Chair. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the responsibilities of the boardroom—from financial stewardship, capital allocation, investment strategy, and risk oversight to CEO partnership, organizational performance, and long-term strategy.

With more than 30 years in healthcare leadership, I have led businesses and organizations through transformation, growth, integration, and strategic change at companies including Kaiser Permanente, CVS, and Ernst & Young. My career has spanned healthcare delivery and insurance, finance, strategy, technology, digital transformation, M&A, regulated businesses, and large-scale operational change.

What I bring to a board is the combination of governance discipline and real-world operating experience. I understand the difference between a strategy that looks compelling on a board presentation and one that can actually be executed. I ask tough questions, challenge constructively, and bring an informed, independent perspective to decisions involving capital, technology, talent, risk, and growth.

I am particularly interested in boards facing strategic transformation, technology disruption, AI adoption, healthcare evolution, M&A, financial or operational complexity, and changing regulatory environments. I am also excited by opportunities outside healthcare where my experience in digital transformation, financial stewardship, and complex organizational change can contribute to long-term value creation.

I am seeking opportunities to serve as an Independent Director on public, private, and nonprofit boards where thoughtful governance, strategic perspective, and an experienced operator’s judgment can make a meaningful difference.
