My strategic vision revolves around establishing data-driven and fully digital risk management frameworks, shifting the focus towards value-added risk decisions rather than automatable control tasks. My expertise spans various sectors within the finance industry, including financial services, fintech, banking, and business consulting and services. As the Founder of Redefi Consultancy since 2023, I provide expert consultancy services to the financial services industry, spearheading digital transformation strategies and advising fintech and startups on improving their risk management frameworks.
In my previous role as Chief Risk Officer at ING Bank Australia Ltd from 2020 to 2023, I led risk management initiatives for the 6th largest bank in Australia. My accomplishments include digitizing and automating risk management processes, navigating successfully through challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and securing key agreements with regulatory bodies on legacy issues. Before this, as Chief Risk Officer at ING Bank Slaski from 2015 to 2020, and at ING Bank Romania from 2010 to 2013, I played pivotal roles in digitizing risk management processes, introducing AI and ML technologies, and revitalizing lending platforms.
My academic journey is marked by a commitment to stay at the forefront of industry trends. I have pursued executive education programs at prestigious institutions such as MIT, The Wharton School, INSEAD, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, focusing on areas such as AI for Business and Blockchain Revolution in Financial Services.
