As a seasoned compliance, legal, and risk management leader, I specialise in empowering fintech and start-up companies to build with integrity, scale with confidence, and navigate complex regulatory landscapes from launch to global expansion. I have hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust governance frameworks, risk management systems, and compliance programmes that are both effective and commercially astute. This is particularly critical in highly regulated sectors such as payments (including e-money, PSPs, and open banking) and online trading & brokerage (handling CFDs) where regulatory scrutiny is intense and operational resilience is paramount.

Beyond executive advisory, I serve as an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED), Consumer Duty Champion and Board Member, offering objective oversight and strategic challenge to promote sustainable growth. In this capacity, I focus on strengthening corporate governance, ensuring rigorous risk oversight, and protecting shareholder value. My role is to provide clarity on the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of regulatory requirements, enabling boards to make informed decisions that balance innovation with accountability, whether they are scaling within the UK or entering new international markets.
