Niklas Mengel

As advisor: I%27m a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with broad experience in terms of Finance, Governance, Risk Management and Strategy, mainly in the area of Operations. My main professional experience is from Procter & Gamble, where I worked mainly in financial roles related to Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, including overseeing all global Governance processes in the area of Production & Warehousing as 3rd Line of Defense (Subject Matter Expert in Internal Audit). I have worked with all business units of P&G, reaching from traditional consumer goods through Chemicals and Electronics to OTC Pharma, but have additional experience working with MedTech, car suppliers as well as in the energy business.
As board member: I have eight years experience serving on boards of major European and International NGOs in the field of education and advocacy. As board member, my key focus is on Finance, Governance, and Risk Analysis and Management. On top, I%27m both good at challenging assumptions and at driving decision-making processes, thus usually finding a good balance between taking the right decisions and being brave at taking decisions fast when needed.
