Hi, I’m Morgane, a retail and tech expert with over 15 years of experience in both B2B and B2C environments, spanning Europe and Africa.
I started my journey in the B2B/SaaS space as Sales Director at Lucky Cart, where I led commercial strategy for France and Belgium and worked closely with major FMCG brands and retailers.
In 2018, I transitioned into Ecommerce (BtoC/Marketplace space) with Jumia Group (NYSE: JMIA), where I held several leadership roles before being appointed CEO of Jumia South Africa. There, I led large-scale operational improvements, launched new business initiatives, and oversaw key transformation projects aimed at increasing efficiency and unlocking growth. I also successfully managed the strategic exit of the South African market for the group, ensuring business continuity and value preservation.
I now divide my time between France and South Africa, and I’m looking to bring my pan-African market expertise to the boardroom. I’m particularly interested in advising European companies looking to launch, expand, or optimize their operations across African markets, whether through ecommerce, retail partnerships, or tech-driven solutions.
