Mike Etuhoko is an independent board director, executive coach, and strategic advisor with over 35 years of global leadership experience across Fortune 500 energy, natural resources, and industrial organizations. A London Business School Sloan Fellow and DBA candidate researching Generative AI and board resilience, he is known for independent judgment, fiduciary discipline, and a system-level perspective that helps boards navigate complex risk and convert uncertainty into durable enterprise value.
He is Founder and CEO of Protekz Inc., advising boards and senior executives through board advisory, executive coaching, and leadership development. His approach aligns governance, behaviour, and decision quality to strengthen resilience where operational, regulatory, and reputational stakes are high. Across his career, he has contributed to more than $3 billion in enterprise value creation through strategic leadership and governance-informed transformation.
Mike brings multi-committee board experience across Audit & Finance, Governance & Nominations, ESG, and Risk. Internationally, he held senior roles with TotalEnergies, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. in Kazakhstan, and Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited in Indonesia, leading large-scale transformation in high-risk, regulated environments.
He is a 2025–26 Society of Petroleum Engineers Distinguished Lecturer and Adjunct Professor at SAIT. He holds an MBA (Distinction) from Warwick Business School, an MSc from London Business School, engineering graduate degrees, and advanced credentials in ESG, climate, and governance.
