With around ten years of proven experience in developing (agro-) industrial investment projects particularly in Sub Saharan Africa, I have developed significant expertise in assessing, structuring, and executing high-impact investment transactions. My experience spans both the perspectives of Development Finance Institution (DFI) lenders—such as Belgian DFI BIO-INVEST—and SME borrowers in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, including notable projects like La Laiterie du Berger in Senegal. Adept at navigating multicultural environments and managing ambiguity, my track record includes complex investment transactions involving diverse stakeholders, including DFIs (BIO-Invest, FMO, Proparco, DEG, FinnFund, etc.), donors (MasterCard Foundation, KfW, USAID, USADF), technical partners (GIZ, Enabel, AFD, etc.), and commercial African banks. My work spans from investment & value chain development project design and financial structuring to document drafting, due diligence management, negotiation, documentation, disbursement and monitoring.
