Maryam Sodagar

I am a researcher at the Institute of Textile Technology in Germany, working on material development in the field of natural fibre reinforced composites and fibres derived from secondary resources. My focus is on creating innovative and sustainable material solutions for the textile and composite industry.

I combine scientific expertise with practical experience in industrial and publicly funded R&D projects in Germany and across international collaborations. This includes project management, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and translating research concepts into application-oriented material systems.

As an advisor or board member, I support companies in developing new sustainable materials, identifying innovative applications for textile composites, and advancing circular and bio-based solutions within their product portfolios.
