Mark Cameron

Mark Cameron, a prominent figure in AI strategy and technology transformation, brings over 27 years of experience in strategic planning, theoretical development, and hands-on product innovation. As the CEO and Director of Alyve, Mark has guided the technology advisory firm for over two decades, supporting enterprise organisations in sectors such as government, higher education, healthcare, utilities, and FMCG.

Mark’s expertise is reflected in his work with global enterprises, ASX-listed organisations, and SMEs, where he has developed AI-driven products, including solutions integrated into the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem and SAP. His advisory focus includes helping organisations leverage generative AI to drive enterprise product strategy, maximise ROI, and foster an AI-centric mindset to accelerate adoption and operational integration.

Mark was the digital strategy columnist for BRW for over six years and currently writes on AI strategy for Forbes. He is a member of the Australia’s National AI Centre and teaches the Digital and AI Transformation course as part of the Deakin Executive MBA program. He also runs corporate executive and board AI education session via Deakin.

Mark holds several board positions, including those at XV Capital, AI product platform Mesh.AI, AI-powered psychology assistant Simpatico, The Public Sector Network, and YMCA Victoria. He is the special AI advisor to YMCA Global focused on youth AI adoption and workforce readiness across the YMCA network of 90,000 staff, 920,000 volunteers, and 65 million young people.
 
He is currently advising several multinational companies and Australian corporations through their AI strategy and adoption initiatives.
