Marc Falguera

I bring more than 12 years of experience in environmental commodities, carbon markets and the energy transition. I have built and scaled businesses in this sector, including leading a company from 20 to 150 employees and from €3M to €30M in revenue before its successful exit. My expertise sits at the intersection of markets, regulation and strategy, helping companies translate sustainability and energy transition challenges into concrete commercial and financial opportunities.




As an advisor or board member, I focus on strategic clarity, market positioning and execution discipline. I help leadership teams navigate complex regulatory environments such as EU ETS, CBAM and emerging carbon markets, while identifying revenue opportunities linked to decarbonisation, renewable energy and environmental commodities.




I’m currently a board member of the booger energy cooperative in Europe with more than 87.000 members. The companies that benefit most from my involvement are scale-ups and growth-stage businesses in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, climate technology or environmental markets that need strategic guidance to commercialise their solutions, expand internationally or align their business model with evolving climate regulations and carbon markets.
