CEO and Managing Director with a focus on Sales and Marketing as well as strong White Paper Business Development, Greenfield (scaling) and Sustainable Corporate Governance (ESG-Environmental, Social & Governance) expertise. More than 16 years of professional experience in leading international FMCG companies including Mondelēz (formerly Kraft Foods), Ecotone (formerly Wessanen) and privately-owned branded SME’s. And more than 7 years of successful biotech startups scaling alternative (novel) food (ingredients). Therefore I have an extraordinary network with direct connections to experts and decision makers.
I am a visionary, strategically agile, passionate, pragmatic, goal-, result- and solution-oriented leader who build-up and grew new food startup Prolupin with his team and managerial courage.
I joined Fraunhofer spin-off Prolupin as sole Managing Director and led the development and implementation of a branded B2C- and B2B-portfolio, using key-enabling technologies (Intellectual property - IP) resulting in major product innovations and launch of the innovative, non-dairy consumer brand MADE WITH LUVE in Europe. With proof-of-concept, i.e. establishing the startup as the #1 lupine protein consumer brand in Germany and Austria and #2 in plant-based yogurts overall. I set up an innovative production facility from scratch and led three successful rounds of financing, uniquely positioning Prolupin for growth investors in the B2C and B2B space. The value of the company has multiplied during this time.
Now I’m thrilled that I’am starting a new position as Senior Vice President Commercial Development at #Mushalbs! I’m proud to be working with a brilliant team on such meaningful work.
