About
I am passionate about creating customer value and product-led growth (30% sustained, €10m+ initiatives) and helping you do the same - with clear product strategy, scalable operating models, data-informed decisions, and continuous innovation. This includes working with executive leadership and organizations across international markets.
What I offer:
a. Early-stage startups: ensure market fit, ability to scale
b. Later-stage: international markets (eg, US, Europe), scale without chaos (eg, product operating models)
c. Enterprise: organizational efficiency at driving impact, strategic partnerships
AI in praxis: I’ve taken clients beyond AI-enabled experiments to leverage AI for smooth and superior customer experiences (example Statista), as well as more efficient employees. I also have a reputation for delivering on complex projects, faster than expected (example, Zalando, Sephora, Nike, eBay, PayPal, Statista).
Starting my career in the Silicon Valley, I moved to Europe in 2002 (Germany, Netherlands, UK) and worked across other locations (Finland, Ireland, France); now I work globally, wherever you need it. I can help you enter the USA and the European Union, also in highly regulated industries.
My experience ranges from early-stage startups to $10B+ enterprises, B2C and B2B, e-commerce (marketplaces, fashion, engagement) and fintech.
Additionally, I am on the advisory board for DataGains, an AI data company where I focus on market entry in Europe as well as product strategy and vision.
My preference is to work in earlier stages and I have my own startup. But hard-earned lessons taught me how to navigate and advise large companies.
Concrete problems I have helped other clients with:
a. Lack of a compelling and aligned strategy (what, why, and how) and market fit
b. Friction between the Business Unit (BU) and Product Management/Tech; lack of a business-focused Product organization
c. Teams are frustratingly slow - finding root causes and aligning/implementing solutions
d. Establishing healthy and efficient ways of working for gathering and leveraging customer insights into investment decisions and measuring the impact
e. Need for an interim leader; followup coaching
f. Developing good people, managing out the others
g. Localizing a product for foreign markets
Just reach out: for a sparring partner who has seen a lot of mistakes you don%27t need to repeat, for tuning an organization to build sustained business growth, and for interim product or multidisciplinary leadership.
