For more than 25 years, I have helped technology leaders manage the people side of organizational change. At VeriSign, Freddie Mac, and CGI Federal, I advised C-suite executives, VPs, directors, and technical teams during technology transformations, acquisitions, workforce initiatives, and executive transitions.

At Freddie Mac, I built and led communications and employee programs for a 2,000-person IT division, managing a 13-person team and a $1.6 million learning and development program. My work included recruiting and onboarding more than 250 technology graduates, strengthening interview and hiring practices, and supporting employee adoption of O365, AWS, and information security initiatives.

At CGI Federal, I led an eight-person communications team supporting a 7,000-person business unit. I advised senior leaders on employee experience and workforce communication, led change strategy for two acquisitions involving more than 500 employees, and helped the organization communicate with employees across 15 locations during the global health crisis.

Today, through Webfooted Consulting, I advise senior IT leaders navigating layoffs, promotions, and career changes. This gives me a close view of what experienced leaders need from organizations, where companies lose strong talent, and how leadership decisions affect the people responsible for carrying them out.

As an advisor or board member, I bring experience in leadership, communications, talent, and organizational change. I listen carefully, ask direct questions, and help leaders consider workforce impact while decisions are still being shaped. I have also served on the board of Herndon-Reston FISH and held national volunteer leadership roles with the American Cancer Society for more than 15 years.

Companies in IT services, government contracting, and financial services would especially benefit from my experience, particularly when they are integrating acquisitions, changing leadership, or asking employees to adopt new technologies and ways of working.
