Klaas lives to be present and authentic. He is the father of two adolescent sons and loves helping people build authentic relations with themselves and others.
After studying computer sciences at the University of Antwerp, Klaas joined his father-in-law%27s enterprise software company. As CTO, HR director, and later CEO, he contributed to the growth of the organization and its 60 employees for 17 years before selling the company.
Realizing the profound importance of the human aspect in organizations, Klaas studied Gestalt therapy for four years, along with various existential and embodied approaches to personal growth. He aims to help people discover their core strengths and define success on their own terms.
Today, Klaas is co-founder and CTO of Maurice & Nora, an Antwerp-based care-tech scale-up connecting seniors and families with screened student helpers for everyday, non-medical support.
As an investor, Klaas focuses on mental health and equal opportunity. He serves on the investment committee of SI3 and several boards, fostering open and authentic conversations.
