Kim Lucander was based in China from January 1998 to December 2012. He has deep long-term experience and understanding of the Chinese and Asian business environment, the Asian way of working and culture. Good relationships and strong contacts within industry, especially Pulp & Paper industry.
Kim Lucander was in charge of the establishment of Pöyry’s Industry BU in China, Thailand and Indonesia, consisting of an engineering office in Shanghai, a Joint Venture Company in Jinan City in Shandong Province, Industry BU in Bangkok and Jakarta. Today there are more than 100 Industry professionals in Pöyry Asia. Year to date a total of about 200 projects have been completed by Pöyry’s Industry Team’s in Asia.
Kim Lucander has a long experience world wide of Industry Projects, mainly in the Pulp & Paper sector where he has been active since 1983. He has been working in China and in other Asian countries on various Industry Projects and business development since January 1998.
Kim Lucander has been active in sales and marketing throughout his business career. Since 1998 he has been leading and coaching sales and project teams in Asia.
