Katim Seringe Touray

I have experience as a board member for organizations and government agencies in the US and Africa. I served for three years on the board of directors of ICANN (which helps manage the domain names and addressing system of the global internet), and I was the founding Chairman of the board of the National Agricultural Development Agency of The Gambia. I have had some training on corporate governance, and had Director Professionalism training from the NACD of the US. I have a Ph.D. in soil science, and over 22 years of experience as an international development consultant for UN and government agencies in Africa. I also have excellent research, quantitative, data analysis and communications skills. I am iinterested in helping companies develop global markets, grow globally, and build mutually-beneficial, strong, and sustainable relationships with partners around the world. I can also help companies better work and exploit opportunities in Africa, and developing countries, and adapt to emerging issues such as the environment, climate change, and sustainability.
