Decades of experience in hyper growth start ups with deep experience in management, sales, marketing, strategy and capital raises for a variety of businesses. Recent roles in fintech, banking, retail financial services, investment banking, platforms, SAAS. Worked in B2B, B2C both in UK/EMEA focused and global roles. Often “first on the ground” and defining go to market strategy. Passionate about scale ups; successfully scaled up 3 disruptive businesses from early stage. Strong interest in tech / SAAS / Cloud / blockchain. Recruited & managed large and industry renowned sales teams. Experience as non-executive director & advisor to the board.

Lectured undergraduates and supported PHD candidates as specialist on blockchain in finance/banking.
Smartlands Platform Non-Executive Director September 19 – Feb 2020
Part time advisory role for crypto platform, advising the founders on UK based operations around strategy, sales, marketing, and business development. Fintech SAAS, crowd funding platform that tokenises assets via blockchain, plus ICO. Assisted with Series A raise of £3m. During my time working with the platform, Sotherbys international listed asset on the exchange, becoming the first mainstream property business to use blockchain as part of their marketing.
MIIcare Advisor December 19 – present
Advisor to the founder on all commercial aspects. Blockchain / AI / machine learning / big data company specialising in the area of Geriatrics, using IoT technologies to promote active ageing and empower the elderly to maintain their independence within their own home. The solution has multiple social impact and digital health awards, and is a provider to the UK’s largest NHS organisation. MiiCare aims to positively impact 1bn people by 20208.

Board Advisory work. Assisted board with go to market / business plan for £1bn student finance fintech business.
Balcroft Consulting Non-Executive Director July 14 – April 16
Board Advisory role. Concurrently with my role at Saving Stream, supported a niche management consultancy specialising in operational projects/change management predominantly in FTSE250 companies. Recruited to facilitate introductions with key stakeholders in companies with minimum turnover of £150m, for change management consulting projects.


My NED/Board advisory work is a true passion, and I am seeking to grow out a portfolio of appointments to businesses I can make a real difference to as a mentor and sounding board.
