I’m Kari Hotanen, seasoned supply chain management and sourcing executive and inspiring leader.
I’ve built, led and coached different organizations, both centralized and decentralized, direct and indirect categories, locally as well as globally more than 20 years in well known multinationals like ABB, KONE and Wärtsilä. My latest responsibility was leading a supply chain organization in two different countries at Örum Group as a CSCO and member of the group management team. I also had a role as a member of the advisory board of the daughter company Mercantile AS in Estonia.
I’m confident that this background provides me excellent possibilities to bring to any business my expertise and deep knowledge on international supply chain management and procurement.
My passion is to to build, develop and lead state of the art teams data based, sustainably and on lean principles. My strengths are curiosity, innovativeness, excitement and determination.
The board positions are super interesting as I trust that my vast experience from different industries and businesses would help any company in their journey to capture the benefits by developing their supply chain and sourcing organization to match the challenges of today and tomorrow.
