Karen David-Green

Karen serves on the Board of Directors for DNOW Inc. (NYSE: DNOW) and Phoenix Energy Services (TSX: PHX), where she is a member of the Audit (Qualified Financial Expert) and Compensation & Human Resources Committee. She also serves on the board of Paragon ISG, a private equity-sponsored company, and is Chair of the Sustainability Committee and former Compensation Chair. She is Directorship Certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and NACD Certified in Cybersecurity Oversight.

With 30 years of experience in senior leadership positions on Wall Street (sell-side energy equity research/portfolio mgt) and as a C-Suite Corporate Officer (Chief Marketing, Strategy, Stakeholder/IR, Sustainability, and Comms Officer), she delivers high-impact experience in capital markets, acquisitions, divestitures, strategy, business and cultural transformation, energy transition, investor and stakeholder relations, risk management, marketing/commercialization and communications. She is battle-tested successfully navigating multiple management transitions, restatements/investigations, and investor, and proxy challenges. She was instrumental in completing a reverse merger and shaping the public (from private) profile.

She led the energy investment research team at Oppenheimer, Crédit Agricole, and Royal Bank of Canada. Additionally, she managed a multi-billion bond chemical portfolio on the buyside for AIG. Karen was a member of the Executive Leadership Team, President of the Weatherford Foundation, Chair of the Sustainability Leadership Council, and Executive Member of the Disclosure and Global Business Continuity & Planning Committee.

Known for proactive shareholder engagement and unlocking shareholder value, experience includes capital allocation, capital market transactions, valuation analysis, demand generation, risk management, and digital & go-to-market strategies. She has proven her ability to solve complex problems, scale up and down businesses, and drive change in strategies and organizational culture within a highly cyclical industry. She has a global perspective having served on the Executive team for companies operating in 80+ countries.

Karen has received acknowledgements, including Global Leader of Influence by the World Affairs Council, Top 50 Women in Oil & Gas, Breakthrough Woman of the Year by the Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and Women Who Mean Business. She frequently speaks at conferences. She earned a BBA in Finance at the University of Texas and a specialized executive certification from the University of Cambridge.
